PRIVACY POLICY

1. Who We Are
VOIDRAVE is developed and published by Adrenaline Games (sole proprietorship, Poland), operated by Tomasz Linke. This Privacy Policy describes how VOIDRAVE handles your data in compliance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. Data Collected by the Game
VOIDRAVE is a single-player arcade shoot 'em up. We collect the absolute minimum data needed for the optional online leaderboard:

We do NOT collect:
- Your real name, email address, or postal address
- IP addresses are not logged with leaderboard entries
- Hardware identifiers, MAC addresses, or device fingerprints
- Browsing history, cookies, or analytics
- Payment data (handled entirely by Steam)
- Telemetry or gameplay analytics
3. Steam Integration
VOIDRAVE uses the Steamworks API to provide achievements, cloud saves, and store integration. When you launch the game through Steam, the game can read your Steam ID and persona name to display them in the leaderboard (you may opt out by entering a custom pilot name).
Steam's own data handling is governed by Valve's Privacy Policy: store.steampowered.com/privacy_agreement
4. Local Save Data
The game stores your progress (saves, settings, achievements, statistics) locally on your machine in the standard Windows AppData folder. This data never leaves your computer unless you submit a score to the online leaderboard.
5. Third-Party Services
- Steam (Valve Corporation) - distribution, achievements, payment processing
- Adrenaline Games VPS - hosts the online leaderboard database (SQLite, located in EU)
We do not sell, share, or transfer your data to any other third parties. The leaderboard server is operated solely by Adrenaline Games.
6. Data Retention
- Leaderboard entries are retained indefinitely as part of game history (high-score archives)
- Daily run entries reset every 24 hours UTC
- You can request deletion of your leaderboard entry at any time (see Section 8)
7. Your Rights (GDPR)
As an EU resident, you have the right to:
- Access - request a copy of any data we hold about your pilot name
- Erasure - ask us to remove your leaderboard entries ("right to be forgotten")
- Rectification - ask us to correct inaccurate data
- Object - object to processing of your pilot name
To exercise these rights, email support@adrenalinegames.pl with your pilot name and the score date. We respond within 30 days.
8. Children
VOIDRAVE contains stylized arcade combat and is rated for general audiences. The game does not knowingly collect data from children. The optional pilot name is the only user-supplied data and is text-only.
9. Security
- All leaderboard submissions use HTTPS (TLS encryption)
- The leaderboard server uses an isolated SQLite database with no PII
- Steam handles all payment processing - we never see card details
- Server hosted in the EU with industry-standard infrastructure security
10. Updates to This Policy
We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced through Steam community posts and on this page with a new "last updated" date.
